About the Journal The International Journal for Environmental Protection and Rural Development is a periodical, published by the EAST (Environmental Advisory for Sustainable Trust) a registered (1544/10) Trust based in Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli District, Tamil Nadu, India. Its aim is to achieve sustainable development in environment by improving the social, economic and physical environment for community benefit. The Journal publishes original research articles for international and national audiences in all fields of Environment and Rural Development.

It is a peer-reviewed, international, quarterly journal published in March, June, September and December, every year. The journal intends to provide a platform for publication of articles from academicians, teachers, and scholars. It also intends to encourage the work of young researchers who are not yet established in the profession. It generally focuses on scholarly articles, current information on research and development and contributions relevant to Environmental Protection and rural Development and other related areas. Submissions are accepted throughout the year. All articles will be peer-reviewed by international scholars and published only on acceptance.
